Voopoo was founded in 2012. At the time they were known as Shenzhen IVPS Technology Co., Ltd and then in 2016 they changed their name to Voopoo Tech, LLC which was founded in Hong Kong and California. They were the first vaping company in China to start exporting to, or collaborating with, international vaping companies.
